Your role As an animal caregiver in surgery with us, you will have the main responsibility for the care of our surgical patients, but also support the surgical teams.

Your responsibilities will include discharging patients to pet owners and providing instructions for further care at home, as well as performing thorough hygiene work in both operating rooms, preparation rooms, and cages.

To help you settle into your role, you will receive a solid introduction with our skilled mentors.

We are looking for someone who

• Has D9 competence for cats and dogs.
• Has at least 3 years of experience working as an animal caregiver at level 2
• Previous experience working in a surgical department is an advantage
• Has experience handling stressed animals and can remain calm.
• Is a flexible team player with a keen eye for detail.
• Can express yourself fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

About the position

Duration: 80%-100%, with a probationary period.

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Start date: By agreement.
